Infrared Sensor Photocell IR33

The IR33 is an infrared sensor, detecting objects or movements to prevent the barrier gate’s boom from striking vehicles as they pass through. It works with 12V~24V AC/DC power, has a 15M max range, 1.92KHz infrared frequency, 940nm wavelength, and 1A/36V relay output.

Install it over 20CM above ground. Keep emitter and receiver at least 2 meters apart, mounted vertically on the same horizontal line face-to-face. When aligned, the receiver’s LED turns off. Fix them and connect wires as instructed.

Connecting Instruction

Note

Installation height should be over 20CM from the ground
The distance from the EMITTER to RECEIVER shall not be less than 2 meter
First install the RECEIVER, and then install the EMITTER, vertically. Make sure the EMITTER and RECEIVER are mounted on the same horizontal line, face-to-face. Once they are on the same line, the LED inside of the RECEIVER goes out
Fix them and connect wires
